A hearing on the company's petitions was to have bee held in the Culver town hall on Thursday morning July 23, and residents of Culver, Grass Creek, Kewanna, Bruce Lake, Delonf and other points had planned to attend and protest against the annulment of the service

The Culver town officials and a delegation from the CHamber of Commerce have bee circulating petitions against the railroad's proposal, and had planned to file these along with letters from cottagers and others with the commision.
