1936 - Nov 25 - 60 Employers File Under Social Security Act

    Sixty employers in Culver have filled out the preliminary form required for the Social Security Act, Postmaster Fletcher Strang reports.

    As there are 61 firms eligible here, one firm was reported as failing to comply with the regulations.

    At the Chamber of Commerce meeting Monday noon the act was discussed in an informal manner as W. 0. Osborn will not give a complete explanation of the measure until rulings have been issued on various provisions that are now not specific.
