Oliver Morris and his wife Margaret W (Gandy) Morris conducted the first hotel in the town of Culver, which was located on the lot now (1922) owned by Dr. and Mrs. C. L. Slonaker, later moving into the building that is now occupied by W. E. Hand, and there conducting a boarding house and hotel for 23 years, as well as a law office. - 15 Nov 1922 Citizen
