What is a Snipet?
Snippets - The definition of a Snippet is "a small piece of anything (especially a piece that has been snipped off)" Okay, so do you have the idea?
This is a place we will be adding small bits of information that we discover along the way while researching the people of our Lake Maxinkuckee. It will just be a paragraph or a couple of sentences telling about the residents in every day life of yesteryear - The 'Gossip Column' of yesteryears newspapers.
Just do not think - local Culver - think about where they came from - Terre Haute, Indianapolis, Logansport, Rochester, Peru... that is also be informative - as to when the left, arrived back etc... It may be a reapeat and just yet there may be add information!
They are a wonderful glimpse into the past - the 'heyday' of Lake Maxinkuckee!
If you want to join in the fun, be our guest and do so; just remember to quote the source (i.e. newspaper & date) that the "Snippet" came from.
